"Global Family Systems & Psychosocial Resilience” was a Covid-19 #Rapid Response Project funded by the Citizen Diplomacy Action Fund #CDAF for U.S. #ExchangeAlumni. This 2020/2021 project, a grant funded to Dr Laurie L Charles and Dr Gameela Samarasinghe, focused on developing a series of virtual, open-access, professional exchanges and guest expert panels on global family systems approaches and psychosocial resilience during the first and second year of the Covid-19 pandemic.
This is a recording of our final panel, February 28th, 2021, a discussion on SDOH and Covid 19, moderated by Dr. Dorcas Matowe, LMFT, author of "Assessing Marriage and Family Therapists’ Perceptions and Knowledge of Racial and Ethic Health Disparities (2019)," and included the following invited discussants: Dr. Kristina Brown, Professor & Chair, Couple and Family Therapy Department, Adler University, and Editor, Journal of Feminist Family Therapy; Ron Christopher Osbourne-Williams, M.S., Florida Coalition Against Domestic Violence: Certified Core Competency Trainer; Dr. Sanja Rolovic, Psychologist in private practice in New York City, and Shereen Francis, a humanitarian worker based in Harare, Zimbabwe.
